2022 Summer Camp
Covid-19 Restrictions

Please feel free to print and post this at your church or mail it to someone who you think might be interested.

Although we cannot guarantee that the Covid-19 virus will not be present at Camp this year, we want to assure you that we are doing things to minimize the risk of exposure that are required by either our state or county health authorities.

Our camp medical doctor and head nurse, with the endorsement and support of the Camp board and the executive director of Camp, issues the following COVID policy:

  1. All camper families and staff families are required to fill in and turn in a Covid waiver form (emailed in advance to each camper family) at check in. The form will be kept strictly by the weekly Camp nurse(s) and the information it contains will only be shared with the weekly director team if/when required.

  2. If a camper or staff member tests positive for Covid, the following applies

    • They will be sent home. Pickup from Camp by a parent, legal guardian or other authorized person must be made within 3 hours.

    • Parents of all campers and minor staff in that cabin, will be notified of the positive test and those parents can decide if they would like to pick up their camper/minor staff.

    • Campers and staff members in the cabin will be monitored daily for symptoms and will be tested daily at camp.

  3. If a camper or staff member becomes symptomatic but tests negative, the nurse in consultation with parents and director will decide how to handle (send home, quarantine at camp, etc.)

As stated by our health authorities, we do not require all campers to be vaccinated or boosted.
